Regulatory background

A Regulatory background section may not be applicable in all cases. Include this section if the investigational product has been approved in other countries or has been approved by the FDA for another indication. Also, include whether prior meetings have taken place with the FDA on the investigational product. Other types of questions not fitting in pre-clinical, CMC or clinical topics may be presented in this section.
